Located in the Chandragiri Municipality, Nepal, Chandragiri hills Cable Car is a gondola lift transportation system that was established in 2016. The cable car connects Thankot and the Chandragiri temple, which is located on top of Chandragiri Hill.
Overview
Upon successful booking of most of the recommended tour packages below, you will be picked up from your hotel and be driven to Chandragiri hills. Next, you will take a cable car ride to the temple. An English-speaking driver will brief you about the temple. A one-way trip to the hills is 2.5km approximately. This cable car trip starts from Godam, Thankot, and traverses through the beautiful natural view of green hills that eventually leads to the top of Chandragiri hill. Please allocate approximately 4-5 hrs for this tour for the best experience.
You will enjoy the pine forests and majestic view of snow-capped surrounding mountains. Many of the tour packages include tickets to a brand-new cable car for a scenic ride up the mountain.
